New York-Penn League Standings thru August 19 - Mahoning Valley Scrappers only 1 game out in Pinckney

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are only one game behind West Virginia in the Pinckney Division after defeating the Black Bears, 2-1 at Monongalia County Ballpark last night in the first game of a three game series. The teams play again, today at 4:05pm. Staten Island leads the McNamara Division at 4.5 games with the best record in the league (37-19). Vermont leads Tri-City by 2 games in the Stedler Division.
