Happy 48th Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospect Julio Zuleta. He played for the Williamsport Cubs in 1995 and 1996.
Zuleta played for the Chicago Cubs in a total of 79 games during the 2000 and 2001 seasons.

He played in 19 games for the 1940 Philadelphia Phillies. After his playing career, Monchak was a scout and minor league instructor for the California Angels (1962-70), and a coach for the Chicago White Sox (1971-75), Oakland Athletics (1976), Pittsburgh Pirates (1977-84), and Atlanta Braves (1986-88).
Monchak died on September 12, 2015, at the age of 98.
