Hudson Valley Renegades win 3-2 in 13th inning over Vermont Lake Monsters

Hudson Valley got a 3-2 walk-off win against the  Vermont Lake Monsters for the fourth time this season at Dutchess Stadium on a sacrifice fly by Brendan McKay scoring Taylor Walls in the bottom of the 13th inning.
 
Hudson Valley took the lead in the bottom of the third inning on a two out RBI single by Zachery Law scoring Deion Tansel. Vermont pitchers had not been scored on in 18 innings going back to third inning of their first post-season game against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

Will Toffley tied the game up for the Vermont Lake Monsters in the top of the fifth inning with an RBI double scoring Iolana Akau. The Renegades took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Justin Bridgman scored on a double by Taylor Walls.

The Vermont Lake Monsters tied it up in the top of the sixth when Aaron Arruda tripled home Logan Farrar. Both teams went scoreless until the Renengades put the game away in the 13th.

Ivan Pelaez got the win in relief (3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 SO). The losing pitcher for the Lake Monsters was Oscar Tovar (3.1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 3 SO).

The New York-Penn League Championship Series continues tomorrow at 7:05pm in Burlington, Vermont tomorrow night.
