Happy Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospect Robert Fick, who was born on this date in 1974. He played for the 1996 Jamestown Jammers.

Fick played in the majors during 10 seasons with the Detroit Tigers (1998-2002), Atlanta Braves (2003), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2004), San Diego Padres (2004-05), and Washington Nationals (2006-07). 

Fick will always be remembered as the last person to hit a home run at Tiger Stadium in Detroit (1999). He was an American League All Star in 2002.
