After he retired as a player, Cisco coached for the Kansas City Royals (1971-79), Montreal Expos (1980-84), San Diego Padres (1985-87), Toronto Blue Jays (1988, 1990-95), and Philadelphia Phillies (1997-2000)
Cisco was elected to the Ohio State Athletic Hall of Fame as a football and baseball player in 1995.
