New York-Penn League Birthdays: March 10

John Cangelosi (Niagara Falls Sox, 1982). Born in 1963. Cangelosi played 13 seasons in the majors with the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, Houston Astros, Florida Marlins, and Colorado Rockies.

Rob Stanifer (Elmira Pioneers, 1994). Born in 1972. He played three seasons in the majors with the Florida Marlins (1997-98) and Boston Red Sox (2000).

Tike Redman (Erie Sea Wolves, 1996). Born in 1977. He played six seasons in the majors with Pittsburgh Pirates (2000-05) and Baltimore Orioles (2007).

Dominic Ramos (Lowell Spinners, 2005). Born in 1983. He played two seasons in the minors leagues and went on to play 8 years of independent league baseball.

Aaron Bates (Lowell Spinners, 2006). Born in 1984. Bates played in five games for the 2009 Boston Red Sox.

Jonathan Holt (Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 2007). Born in 1986. Holt played three seasons in the minor leagues.

Manuel Boscan (Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 2013). Born in 1993. He played four seasons in the minor leagues.
