Siebert spent 12 seasons in the major leagues, pitching for the Cleveland Indians (1964-69), Boston Red Sox (1969-73), Texas Rangers (1973), St. Louis Cardinals (1974), San Diego Padres (1975), and Oakland Athletics (1975). He was an American League All Star in 1966 and 1971.
After his playing day, he coached in the minor leagues for several seasons and was a coach for the San Diego Padres during two seasons (1994-95)
