Happy 84th Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospect Dick Egan. He pitched for the 1958 Erie Sailors (10-14, 3.68 ERA).

Egan played for the Detroit Tigers (1963-64), California Angels (1966), and Los Angeles Dodgers (1967).

After his playing days, he coached for the Texas Rangers and worked in the front offices of the Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers.
