Neal played in the majors during 8 seasons for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers (1956-61), New York Mets (1962-63), & Cincinnati Reds (1963). He was awarded a Gold Glove in 1959 and was a National League All-Star in 1959 and 1960.
He died at November 16, 1996 at the age of 65.
