Former New York-Penn League prospect Leon Everitt  was born on the date in 1947. He played for the 1966 Jamestown Dodgers. 

 

He pitched in 5 major league games with the 1969 San Diego Padres.

 

Everitt died on August 27, 2016, at the age of 69.
