New York-Penn League Prospects who made it to the Major Leagues: Coot Veal

Coot Veal played in 13 games (.418) in the PONY (New York-Penn) League in 1952 for the Jamestown Falcons.

Veal went on to play in the major leagues during six seasons with the Detroit Tigers (1958-60, '63), Washington Senators (1961), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1962).
