Ferraro played in the majors during four seasons with the New York Yankees (1966, '68), Seattle Pilots (1969) and Milwaukee Brewers (1972).
He managed for five seasons in the minor leagues and managed the Cleveland Indians in 1983 and the Kansas City Royals in 1986.
