Former PONY League prospect Mike Krsnich was born on this date in 1931. He played for the 1950 Bradford Phillies.

Krsnich played for the Milwaukee Braves during two seasons (1960, '62), appearing in a total of 11 major league games. He finished his baseball career playing in Japan (1964-66, '67).

He died on April 30, 2011, at the age of 79.
