Corsi played in the New York-Penn League during two seasons with the Oneonta Yankees. He pitched in one game for Oneonta in 1982 (3.2 IP, 0-0, 10.80 ERA, 2 BB, 6 SO) and 11 games in 1983 (59.1 IP, 3-6, 4.25 ERA, 21 BB, 47 SO).

He went on to play in Major League Baseball for 10 seasons with the Oakland Athletics (1988-89, '92, '95-'96), Houston Astros (1991), Boston Red Sox (1997-99), and Baltimore Orioles (1999).
