Happy Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospect Pat Tabler, who was born on this date in 1958. He played for the Oneonta Yankees in 1976.

Tabler played in the majors for 12 seasons with the Chicago Cubs (1981-82), Cleveland Indians (1988), Kansas City Royals (1988-90, New York Mets (1990), and Toronto Blue Jays (1991-92). He was a 1987 American League All Star and appeared in 2 games for the 1992 World Champion Blue Jays.

He has been a TV analyst for the Toronto Blue Jays since 1993.
