Happy Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospects Giancarlo Stanton and Ed Kranepool.
Ed Kranepool played in 20 games for the 1962 Auburn Mets. He went on to a 18 year major league career with the New York Mets (1962-79).
Giancarlo Stanton has played in 9 games for the Jamestown Jammers in 2007. He has played in the majors for 12 seasons with the Florida/Miami Marlins (2010-17) and New York Yankees (2018-present).
