Former New York-Penn League prospect Brock Pemberton was born on this date in 1953. He played for the 1972 Batavia Trojans. Pemberton is the son of former minor league outfielder Cliff Pemberton.

He played in a total of 13 games for the New York Mets during the 1974 and '75 seasons. 

After his baseball career, he worked for a landscaping company. Pemberton died on February 17, 2016, at the age 62.
