Happy Birthday (60th) to former New York-Penn League prospect Doug Drabek. He played for the 1983 Niagara Falls Sox.

Drabek pitched for the New York Yankees (1986), Pittsburgh Pirates (1987-92), Houston Astros (1993-96), Chicago White Sox (1997), and Baltimore Orioles (1998) during 13 seasons in the majors.

He has been a pitching coach in the minor leagues for several seasons and is currently the pitching coach for the Reno Aces of the AAA Pacific Coast League.
