Happy Birthday (68th) to former New York-Penn League prospect Don Aase. He pitched for the Williamsport Red Sox in 1972.

Aase played in the majors for 13 seasons with the Boston Red Sox (1977), California Angels (1978-82, ’84), Baltimore Orioles (1985-88), New York Mets (1989) and Los Angeles Dodgers (1990).

He appeared in the 1986 All-Star game for the American League.
