Happy 84th Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospect Bob Heffner. He played for the Corning Red/Cor Sox during three seasons (1957-59). 

Heffner went to pitch for the Boston Red Sox (1963-65), Cleveland Indians (1966), and California Angels (1968).
