Happy 83rd birthday to former PONY/New York-Penn League prospect Buck Rodgers. He played for the  Jamestown Falcons in 1956 and Erie Sailors in 1957.

Rodgers played in the majors with the Los Angeles/California Angels (1961-69) and managed the Milwaukee Brewers (1980-82), Montreal Expos (1985-91), and California Angels (1991-94).
