On this Date in PONY (New York-Penn) League History: December 3, 1941

Hornell, New York's fund raising campaign to bring a PONY League team to the city is coming to an end.

Note: Hornell was awarded a PONY League franchise for the 1942 and fielded a team in the PONY/New York-Penn League through the 1957 season.
