Happy 87th birthday to former Pennsylvania-Ontario-New York (PONY) League prospect Bobby Richardson. He played for the 1953 Olean Yankees as a 17 year old rookie. 

He went on to play for the New York Yankees during 12 seasons (1955-66). He was an 8-time American League All-Star, 5 time Gold Glove winner at second base and the 1960 World Series Most Valuable Player.
