Happy Birthday (66th) to former New York-Penn League prospect and manager Jay Loviglio. He played for the 1977 Auburn Phillies and managed the Geneva Cubs in 1986.

Loviglio played in the majors during with the Phildelphia Phillies (1980), Chicago White Sox (1981-82), and Chicago Cubs (1983). 

After his playing days, Loviglio managed and coached in the minor leagues for several seasons.
