Happy 75th Birthday to former New York-Penn League prospect Billy Rohr. He pitched for the 1964 Wellsville Red Sox (11-9, 4.61 ERA).
Rohr played for the Boston Red Sox (1967) and Cleveland Indians (1968). He is remembered for almost pitching a no-hitter against the New York Yankees on April 14, 1967 (link to boxscore).
After his playing days he worked as an attorney.
