News from the New York-Penn League on February 16, 1963

Ron Fiorella signs $20,000 bonus with the Pittsburgh Pirates and will be assigned to the Batavia Pirates for the 1963 season

Note: Fiorella pitched in 41 games for Batavia (146 IP, 9-9, 2.96 ERA, 207 SO). He played four seasons in the minor leagues and was out of baseball after 1966.
