• The 2018 opens on June 15. Get ticket information here.
• The Detroit Tigers announced their minor league manager assignments on November 8. Gerald Laird will return to lead the Connecticut Tigers during the 2018 season.
• The State College Spikes will host the 2018 New York-Penn League All-Star Game in August.
• Tri-City ValleyCats general manager Matt Callahan was selected as the 2017 recipient of the Robert Stedler Executive of the Year Award.
• The Brooklyn Cyclones received of the 52nd annual Larry MacPhail Award, symbolizing the top promotional effort in Minor League Baseball.
• Mahoning Valley Scrappers Head Groundskeeper and Assistant Director of Operations, Ryan Olszewski received the 2017 Short Season Sports Turf Manager of the Year Award.
• West Virginia Black Bears' Assistant GM Jackie Riggleman was named New York-Penn League Joann Weber Female Executive of the Year.
